This book is chock full of good information, easy projects, great photographs and Green Dean.    Writer Susan Brill did a wonderful job putting together a how-to on every Grounds For Improvement project featured.  It is light reading that will hopefully get you thinking about things to do in your yard.  I know what you are asking yourself, what's so green about the projects in the book?  Well, if you look closely enough at the products featured in the show and in the book, you will notice that some of them are green materials.  The green materials include recycled glass, FSC Certified lumber, composite decking, permeable pavers, recycled iron fencing, native plants and synthetic turf.  See we were green before green was cool!  The book will show you how to work with all of these materials and complete those special projects.  If nothing else get a copy to see how to make a Low Country Oyster Roasting Pit!  Come to thiink of it...why not order a couple, Amazon says they have only four left with more on the way!
